The return of the ancient hostaria

Hostaria del Casale Denari was founded in the early 1960s thanks to the intuition of Duke Antonio Denari, who, ahead of his time, offered a dining experience on his farm. Today we call them agritourisms, but they didn’t yet exist. Today, this tradition is renewed under new management, entrusted to the historic Ristorante Bazzini, a symbol of the Oltrepò Pavese region. Founded in 1938, it has been passionately cultivated for generations, combining local cuisine with contemporary innovation. The merging of the history of Casale Denari and the experience of Ristorante Bazzini has ushered in a new chapter: a cuisine that emphasizes local products, seasonality, and tradition, reinterpreted with a modern sensibility, in a unique setting nestled in the hills of the Oltrepò Pavese.
